COMPANY HISTORY
Established on September 1998 by Founder and Chairman, Mr. Lee Man Jang, SOLTEC, Inc. is a Korean organization engaged in the manufacture and production of hi-quality footwear products geared for its clientele engaged in the Shoe Industry.
Since its formal introduction to the Philippine public, opening its doors on the following month of the same year, the company had firmly placed its foundation and earned its business stability as being the first and biggest manufacturer of Polyurethane (PU) Footwear Outsoles in the Philippines.
In its humble beginnings, formerly housed in RSTI Compound, KM 15 Alabang-Zapote Road, Pamplona, Las Piñas City, SOLTEC, Inc. started with only 2 machineries and 60 employees for the production of their products. Although this was so, the company had persevered with determination and hard work, and their monthly output approximately reached 25,000 to 30,000 basic, one-color schemes of shoes and polyurethane footwear outsoles.
Through the months that followed, continuous commitments to serve the public became the topmost priorities of the company – leading to its business growth. The company undertook further studies and development of added features to the firm’s beautifully designed shoes, incorporated with their own in-house polyurethane footwear outsoles. The ability and strength of the company to continually adapt and answer the ever-changing demands of the market (giving more to their established line of clientele than others would opt to offer), and its unfailing provision and further improvement of quality products with competitive prices, heralds the company’s secrets to its success.
Presently, SOLTEC houses 320 Filipino employees and 5 Korean Technician/Supervisors handling work operations for 12 hours a day to come up with its minimum required capacity of more than 600,000 pairs of PU Outsoles per month; and 250,000 pairs of ladies sandals and slippers with PU outsoles per month.
Due to the incorporation of additional manpower to further implement the company’s mission, the company moved its operations to a new building located in WHSE #10, SUNBLEST Comp., KM23 West Service Road, Cupang, Muntinlupa City on August of 2001.
For over seven (7) years now, SOLTEC has enjoyed its recognition as a renowned company in the Shoe business industry providing quality services and products to various customers in the market.
ITS FACILITIES
With its continuous industrial upraise, SOLTEC has invested an enormous amount in all its facilities to further accommodate the needs of its growing market. Aside from its office in Muntinlupa City, which is also used as a warehouse unit (with an area of 5,000 sq. meters), the company has leased one building in Marikina for additional office space and showroom needs.
Other than the company’s office and warehouse facilities, SOLTEC had added and continuously maintains a good inventory of different machines for daily operations in producing products of top-quality. To better serve its customers’ needs, the firm had installed hi-powered equipments such as: a PU pouring machine, conveyor, dipping machine, and electric ovens to name a few.
